Oooh la la - Mirren has a crush on Kylie's ex

What will Kylie Minogue say? Dame Helen Mirren has admitted she has a crush on the Australian pop singer's ex Olivier Martinez.

The Queen actress, 62, starred with the actor in the US TV production of The Roman Spring Of Mrs Stone in 2003. The role required Mirren to disrobe on screen (not for the first time) for her nude scene with the hunky actor.

And while she enjoyed admiring the Frenchman, she admits she felt insecure in his company.

She told The Sun, "(Olivier was) one of the most beautiful men with whom I have ever worked. I sat looking at him while we were filming the nude scenes, thinking, "How gorgeous".

"And I admit I sat looking at me thinking 'How old and ugly," (Which we say is utter nonsense).

Martinez and Kylie began dating in 2003, and Minogue called the actor "her rock" while she was treated for breast cancer. They spit in 2007 over rumours, which both deny, of Martinez's wandering eye. They still remain friends.
