The in demand Emily Blunt will play Queen Victoria in forthcoming film The Young Victoria which boasts royalty among its production team.
The movie's story will cover the monarch's rise to power as an 18 year old, her marriage to Prince Albert, and other events. The Devil Wears Prada star is the only star confirmed as yet for the film which includes Martin Scorsese and Sarah Ferguson the Duchess of York among its producers.
The script was written by Julian Fellows (Gosford Park) and Jean-Marc Vallee will direct.
