Has the curse of director David O. Russell struck again? James Caan has walked off the set of the fiery filmmaker's latest movie citing "creative differences".

The director famously had a fistfight with George Clooney on the set of 1999 movie Three Kings after the actor took offence to Russell's perceived poor treatment of the film crew.

And his heated argument with Lily Tomlin on I Heart Huckabees was leaked onto YouTube quickly becoming an internet sensation. And now Caan has left his latest movie Nailed.

However, the actor was quick to downplay any rift with Russell. His publicist said, "James Caan did amicably part ways with this production due to creative differences. He wished all of the actors and production crew well when he departed."

Nailed also stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Biel.
