Austin Powers director Jay Roach has admitted that Mike Myers is thinking about bringing his famed dim superspy character back for a fourth big screen outing.
It was recently reported that a new Austin Powers movie was in the works -
with reports claiming that the film will be told from the point of view of Power's arch nemesis Dr Evil (both roles are played by Myers). It was also claimed that supermodel Gisele Bundchen would star as the love interest.
However, Roach insists that any talk of a fourth Powers film is very much in the early stages but Myers is up for doing another one. He told MTV, "I know Mike’s thinking about it. Which is something of a move in a direction.
“There isn’t a script or anything yet. But it’s something, that [is still alive]…he’s got other stuff to do too, and that one’s completely driven by Mike. If he wants to do it, I’ll definitely want to be involved. But I don’t know yet when that’s gonna happen.”
