Producers of the forthcoming Bonnie And Clyde film have said that it won't be a remake of the classic 1967 movie (pic) starring Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway.
The Story Of Bonnie And Clyde will feature an original screenplay by producer and director Tonya Holly focussing on the exploits of the Texas-born outlaw couple.
The film's production staff are currently scouting for locations in the US. They are also seeking people to fill small roles and not necessarily models. "I'm looking for regular people" Holly told Louisiana website thetowntalk.com. "We are thinking about Alexandria as downtown Dallas and we want to find people who look like they would be there going about their lives."
The starring roles are yet to be filled (Brad and Angelina?).
The movie is expected to be released in 2009.
