Oscar winning writer / director Paul Haggis ("Crash") is in talks to take charge of fellow Academy Award winners Tommy Lee Jones and Charlize Theron in new drama "The Garden of Elah".
The film, which Haggis has adapted from an article which appeared in Playboy magazine, will see Jones will play a veteran soldier whose son goes missing soon after he returns home to the U.S. from the front lines in Iraq. Theron will play a local cop who helps him investigate the disappearance. Filming is expected to start towards the end of the year.
