Potter fans will be pleased to know that the "Half-Blood Prince" will open with 25 minutes of IMAX 3-D sequences next summer. Rich Gelfond, Co-Chairman and Co-CEO of the IMAX Corporation announced in August to shareholders, "we believe this film will include approximately 25 minutes in IMAX 3-D split between the opening sequence of the film and the finale."
Although we will have to wait to find out which scenes will be in 3-D, fans can anticipate a more exhilarating film opening in IMAX and regular theatres July 19, 2009.
