Ryan Reynolds can breathe a sigh of relief - X-Men star Hugh Jackman has given the Canadian actor his blessing over his romance with Scarlett Johansson.
Reynolds has been dating Scarlett for several months, and it seems to have delighted Jackman, who has worked with the actress on two films - 2006's Scoop and The Prestige.
He told Entertainment Tonight Canada, "Ryan Reynolds is one of the funniest guys I've ever met. And umm, we had a really good chat about his girlfriend, because I'm very fond of Scarlett. He got a big thumbs up from me. So Scarlett, if you’re watching, big thumbs up.
"I'm giving my blessing, exactly."
Which is good news for Reynolds, who is starring with Jackman in the forthcoming Wolverine movie.
