The ever-suave Clive Owen has signed on to new drugs movie "Cartagena".

The project will be produced by Mark Cuban's 2929 Productions, with producer Marc Bhutan ("We Own The Night", "Good Night And Good Luck") overseeing the project, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

Michael Ross, of "Turistas" fame, has signed on to write the screenplay.

Owen will play an undercover agent who infiltrates a Colombian drug cartel, but has to evade both drug dealers and international agents in order to survive.
