French actress Audrey Tautou is having a good couple of days - first her new film "A Very Long Engagement" opened in the UK to rave reviews and now it's been confirmed that she's to star alongside Tom Hanks in "The Da Vinci Code".
Tautou will play cryptologist Sophie Neveu in the adaptation of Dan Brown's best-selling novel, which sees the pair investigating a high-profile murder only, to stumble on one of Christianity's closest kept secrets. Oscar-winner Ron Howard is directing the project, which is due to start shooting later this year.
