Jen: "Courtney's having marital problems"

Jennifer Aniston has admitted that her best friend Courteney Cox is having marital problems with hubby David Arquette.

Jen, who co-starred with Courteney in hit sitcom Friends, is godmother to her daughter Coco, and often stays with the Arquettes. But rumours of a rift between the couple, who married in 1999 after meeting on the set of horror flick Scream, won't subside following Jen's comments.

"Erm... yes, David and Courteney are having marital problems," Jennifer told Heat. "Though whatever happens, I will be there to support my friend in her time of need."

Courteney has admitted she and David went through a rough patch last summer, and had therapy following a bust-up on holiday. But with David promoting his new film - The Tripper, Courteney busy with her TV show Dirt, and reports that they've been staying in separate houses, maybe they should consider booking Dr Aniston for a spot of 'Friendly' counselling?
