Monty Python's Life of Brian has topped a poll as the greatest British movie of all time. 2,500 people took part in a survey by www.radiotimes.com which saw the Python team franchise appear twice in the top ten.
The Full Monty (1997) came second, Rom - com Four Weddings And A Funeral came third (1994), Danny Boyle's Trainspotting came fourth, followed by the classic Lawrence of Arabia (1962), relative newbie Shaun Of The Dead (2004) took sixth place, Withnail & I (1987) seventh, Brief Encounter (1945) eighth, Zulu (1964) ninth and Monty Python And The Holy Grail came tenth.
