John Travolta has spoken out about his frantic battle in vain to save his 16-year-old Jett after he suffered a seizure.

The actor tried to give him the kiss of life before his wife, Kelly Preston, then continued with the mouth to mouth resuscitation.

He said, "I ran downstairs with my wife to help my son. I saw him on the bathroom floor. Jeff Kathrein, his other nanny, and a woman from Old Bahama Bay were doing CPR."

The Pulp Fiction actor made the comments during his Bahamas court appearance against the two men accused of trying to extort money from Travolta.

Paramedic Tarino Lightbourne and former politician Pleasant Bridgewater are accused of attempting to extort $25 million from the actor. Police claim Lightbourne and Bridgewater demanded the money from the Hollywood actor or they would go public over a document involving the hospital transport of his son.

They both deny the charges.
