Bana has Factor X

Eric Bana and Terrence Howard have signed on to star in New Line's Ridley Scott produced thriller Factor X.

The movie's title refers to the taunting notes a serial killer leaves on his victims. Bana will play a Wichita police detective, who's spent his entire career trying to track down the killer while Howard tackles the part of a young counter terrorism expert from Washington.

Ridley Scott could yet direct the project.
