Disney's The Prestige, starring Hugh Jackman (pic) and Christian Bale as rival magicians, topped the US box office at the weekend. Martin Scorsese's The Departed stayed second ahead of Clint Eastwood's WW2 saga Flags Of Our Fathers which opened at No.3.
The previous weekend's No.1, horror sequel The Grudge 2, dropped down to fifth-place which it shared with new family film Flicka, based on the children's book My Friend Flicka, which stars Alison Lohman as a teen who adopts a wild mustang.
Marie Antoinette, starring Kirsten Dunst in director Sofia Coppola's story of the 18th-century French queen, debuted at No.8.
