"Beautiful baby" confirmed for Isla and Sacha

Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen have officially confirmed the birth of their first child.

Fisher - who is engaged to Borat star Cohen - gave birth to a baby girl on October 19, but the couple had chosen not even to confirm her pregnancy, let alone the new arrival, until now.

But according to the rep of Wedding Crashers star Fisher, the couple have welcomed a new addition into their family. The rep told Us Weekly: "They had a beautiful healthy baby girl. Mother and daughter are doing great." No other information was available.

Fisher, 31, and Cohen, 36, have yet to announce a wedding date, but both are busy working, with Fisher back on a film set this January, shooting the movie version of Confessions of a Shopaholic. Cohen, meanwhile, is currently filming fashion spoof Bruno, based around the antics of another of his comedy characters.
