Miami Vice director Michael Mann's new gangster flick, Public Enemies, is to feature a stellar list of Hollywood's finest.
Christian Bale is set to play legendary FBI agent Melvin Purvis opposite Johnny Depp as gang leader John Dillinger. Alongside the two big-hitters, the film also features Stephen Dorff, Giovanni Ribisi and La Vie En Rose star Marion Cotillard.
And now David Wenham and This Is England actor Stephen Graham are joining the project to complete a seriously heavyweight cast.
Shooting of the movie, an adaptation of the Brian Burrough's book Public Enemies: America's Greatest Crime Wave and the Birth of the FBI, begins in March in Chicago.
Depp's character, Dillinger, was one of America's most notorious criminals, but was seen by many as a modern Robin Hood. The film will follow the police pursuit of the Chicago bank robber, which is said to have led to the creation of the FBI.
Mann, himself a native of the Windy City, has also scripted the movie, though it is not known how much other gangsters of the time such as Pretty Boy Floyd or Bonnie & Clyde will feature.
