Mortensen starts work on "Good"

If you fancy playing spot the celebrity then we'd recommend you head to Budapest because Viggo Mortensen, Jason Isaacs, Jodie Whittaker and Mark Strong are all in town to film "Good".

Based on CP Taylor's Tony Award wining stage play set in 1930s Germany, the film will see Viggo playing John Halder, a 'good' and decent man with family problems, who publishes a book detailing his mother's battle with senile dementia that advocates compassionate euthanasia. After his book is endorsed by powerful members of the Nazi party Halder soon finds his career on the rise, as he is caught up in the growing air of nationalism and prosperity that sweeps the country.

"Good" is everything you don't expect from a period film set against such a calamitous moment in history," said director Vicente Amorim. "It's colourful, exciting, funny and utterly relevant. This film involves us in the buzz of a nation on the rise, where anything is possible and 'good' people get caught up in a stampede that is heading over a cliff."
