Brett Ratner to tell Playboy story

The life and times of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner are coming to the screen in a new film from "Rush Hour" director Brett Ratner. Various filmmakers have tried - and ultimately failed - to tell Hef's story over the years, but Ratner and screenwriter John Hoffman seem to have finally cracked it as the 81 year-old icon gave his blessing to the project last week.

Hoffman is currently hard at work on his script, while Ratner is preparing for the release of "Rush Hour 3". He's also prepping a new crime caper which'll see an all-star cast robbing the residents of Manhattan's Trump Tower of their riches.
