Oliver Stone's biopic of George W Bush is set to begin filming now that the role of the US President has been cast.
No Country For Old Men star Josh Brolin will play the much maligned US President while Fred Claus actress Elizabeth Banks is in final negotiations to play Laura Bush.
Stone, who has already filmed a Richard Nixon biopic, has written the screenplay with Stanley Weiser, who worked with the heavyweight director on 1987s Wall Street.
It is not yet known whether the film will feature Bush's life and times in the Oval office (which would be quite strange seeing as he may still be President when the film comes out) or will instead focus on his younger years.
Stone is of course no stranger to covering landmark American events on film - he has already covered the Vietnam war, the shooting of JFK and the 9/11 Twin Towers collapse.
Shooting on the film begins next month.
