Action star Mel Gibson is to be a dad for the eight time after his new Russian girlfriend announced she was pregnant.
The Lethal Weapon star was spotted with Oskana Grigorieva for the first time last month at the US premiere of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Gibson recently began divorce proceedings against Robyn - his wife of 28 years.
He said, "Our marriage ended three years ago and we've been separated ever since then. When it's all said and done, I did a pretty good hatchet job on my marriage myself.
"I'm to blame. If you're inclined to judge, put it here."
Gibson told US chat show host Jay Leno about his new girlfriend's pregnancy on Monday.
"It's true. We're gonna have a child."
Gibson joked that people can now call him 'Octo Mel' - a reference to Nadya Suleman, who was dubbed Octo-Mom after she gave birth to eight children.
