Man of Steel marries long-term partner

Superman Returns star Brandon Routh wed his long-term partner Courtney Ford at a ranch in Santa Barbara on Saturday.

Routh dubbed Courtney his personal kryptonite because she brings him to his knees, and so it proved when he proposed to her last year in Glastonbury during his press tour with Superman. But the couple kept it secret until promotion of the blockbuster was finished.

Wedding planner Katie Tiffany said of the occasion, "Even though it cooled off into the evening, I can only feel the warmth and love in this breathtaking setting." (They talk like that in LA).

The pair met four years ago at a bar where Routh was working at the time.
