Fresh from his Best Director win at the Oscars Martin Scorsese was only too pleased to discuss possible plans for a sequel to The Departed.
The legendary director confirmed to reporters that a script was already being written by William Monahan, and that his old pal Robert De Niro is likely to be involved: "That would be a good idea."
However, Scorsese was not yet certain whether he would direct the project or simply produce it.
