Eddie Murphy recruits "Over The Hedge" director

"Over The Hedge" helmer Karey Kirkpatrick is moving from the world of animation to live-action for his next project: he has signed up to direct new Eddie Murphy movie "NoWhereLand".

Featuring a script by "Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventure" co-writers Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson and scheduled to start filming this summer, the film will (according to trade mag Variety) see Murphy playing "a successful financial exec who suddenly loses his confidence and finds his career going down the drain. He discovers the answers to his problems within the imaginary world created by his daughter.
