Sex And The City star Kristin Davis, 43, says she wouldn't rule out adopting a child, like her character in the show/film although she hasn't given up on having a baby herself.
Davis's character, Charlotte York, can't conceive naturally but the actress doesn't have such problems in real life, she just doesn't seem to have found the right man as yet.
She told Health magazine, "I would love to have children. I would love to adopt." She adds,” I would still like to find a man and have a baby with him. I haven't given up."
Asked why she felt the show's character's resonated with so many women, Davis is quoted by the Boston Herald as saying, “Because we got to play strong women who never pretended to be younger. We were never told to lose weight. That there hadn’t really been our type of show before, that we could just all talk about our ages, talk about those issues, and not have to try to hide them. It just built my confidence up a lot as an actress, as a woman and as a person.”
The Sex And The City movie opens in the UK on Wednesday.
