Shia signs for thriller

Disturbia duo, director D.J. Caruso and star Shia LaBeouf are working on a new thriller, Eagle Eye.

Originally an idea by Steven Spielberg, Eagle Eye centres around a young man and single mother who are accused of being terrorists and are forced to become members of a cell with plans to carry out a political assassination. Dreamworks will be distributing the film.

Meanwhile Shia LaBeouf is currently shooting the fourth Indiana Jones movie with Spielberg and can soon be seen in Transformers, a Spielberg co-production; he must really like the guy.
