Steve Martin in his own remake?

Steve Martin has been roped in to remake one his own movies.

The silver-haired comedian is being courted by pal Queen Latifah and director Adam Shankman to remake All Of Me, originally a 1984 hit for Steve along with Lily Tomlin.

Latifah, who co-starred with Martin in 2003 comedy Bringing Down The House, told MTV: “I’ve even thought about Steve doing it [again]. Adam was supposed to call him; I’m not sure if he called him yet to see if he was interested. I definitely want him to know about it, and see what he thinks about [doing it].”

As well as acting in the remake Latifah has a hands on role in the script which is currently being written.
