McTeigue heads to "Bangkok 8"

"V For Vendetta" director James McTeigue is getting back behind the cameras for an adaptation of John Burdett's book "Bangkok 8". The first of a three-book series, "Bangkok 8" centres on a detective with the Royal Thai Police Force investigating the murders of his partner and a U.S. Marine. The case then takes him deep into Bangkok's seedy underbelly of drugs, sex and corruption.

Millennium Films are producing the movie, which will be shot on location in Thailand. If "Bangkok 8" performs well, don't be surprised to see Burdett's full trilogy make it to the big screen.
