Kelly Osbourne is starting a new career in the West End's musical theatre, according to reports.
The pop singer, reality TV star and daughter of rock duo Ozzy and Sharon is tipped to make her West End debut playing Mama Morton in Chicago.
At 22-year-old Kelly might be considered too young for the part - a dodgy-dealing womens' prison supervisor - but that's not put off the show's casting agents. Mama Morton is currently being played in London's West End production by Queen Latifah, who also starred in the six-Oscar winning 2002 film alongside Catherine Zeta Jones and Renee Zellweger.
A source told The Sun: "The word on the street is that Kelly is going to play Mama Morton in Chicago from September. She's been practising like mad."
A spokesman for Kelly confirmed there had been discussion between his client and the production team at London's Cambridge Theatre, adding: "They've been talking about it, but nothing's been signed yet. If they do sign something it would be next week."
