Two stuntmen working on the latest Adam Sandler film, You Don't Mess With The Zohan, were hospitalised on Monday after an accident on the Universal Studios set.
The pair suffered first and third-degree burns, according to Los Angeles County fire officials. One is listed in serious yet stable condition and the other is listed as stable.
Columbia Tristar spokesman Steve Elzer said in a statement: "Our thoughts right now are with the stuntmen and their families and we hope that each recovers swiftly from their injuries."
Sandler visited the stuntmen in the hospital on Monday evening.
The LA County fire inspector said that no fire was reported at the scene and that the incident is being investigated.
You Don't Mess With The Zohan, which opens next June and costars Henry 'The Fonz' Winkler and Rob Schneider, sees Sandler portraying an Israeli secret agent who fakes his own death so he can embark on a new career as a hairdresser in New York.
