Actor Matthew Fox has vowed to quit smoking, because he's fed up of hiding it from his children.
The Smokin' Aces and Lost star, who began smoking cigarettes when he gave up chewing tobacco at university in the late 1980s, admits he tries to give up each year, but always fails.
He said: "I make the same one every year and I never keep it, but I've vowed that this will be the year when I quit smoking. I go through periods when I smoke a lot depending on how stressed I am. I feel terrible about it because I have kids and I try to hide it from them - but this is the year it's going to stop."
Matthew co-stars with Oscar winner Forest Whitaker, Dennis Quaid and Sigourney Weaver in assassination thriller Vantage Point, due in cinemas this Autumn.
