Has common sense taken a knock out blow? MGM are considering making yet another Rocky film.
It was thought that 2006s Rocky Balboa was the final chapter in the long running franchise about the enduring boxer. It was a box office hit but many will consider Sylvester Stallone a tad too old to get back in the ring again.
However, the film's studio bosses clearly don't think so. When MGM's Mary Parent admitted the company was considering making another Rocky movie, the announcement apparently got some "very enthusiastic responses", IndieWire reports.
Stallone has previously said that he was finished with the franchise, and has been more vocal about making more Rambo films rather than Rocky.
The last Rocky film ended with a moral, if not actual, victory for the ageing Italian Stallion in the ring.
