"Heroes" star to play Spock

We've finally got our first bit of confirmed casting for J.J. Abrams' upcoming "Star Trek" - "Heroes" baddie Zachary Quinto, Sylar in the hit show, is to play a younger version of half-Vulcan, half-Human logic machine Mr. Spock in the movie, which is apparently set during Spock and Kirk's early days at Starfleet Academy.

The news was confirmed at ComicCon in San Diego where it was also hinted that Quinto won't be the only Spock to appear in the movie - there are rumours that Leonard Nimoy will feature in the film too.
