Katie Holmes had a lucky escape after her car caught fire.
The actress had the terrifying near miss recently while filming horror movie Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark. She was sitting in the BMW when suddenly black smoke and sparks started coming from the bonnet. As she fled from the vehicle it suddenly burst into flames, reports the Daily Mail.
A source told the newspaper, "Katie was very shaken by the ordeal. She took the rest of the day off while special effects staff looked over the faults.
"Katie has filmed scenes since but it has made her think about her safety on set. She will be shooting the same scene at a later date. She's obviously very nervous about it."
