George Clooney is set to star in flying comedy Up In The Air.
The actor will play an unapologetic corporate downsizer who is obsessed with collecting air miles in the new comedy by Juno director Jason Reitman - reports Variety.com.
The film is based on the book by Walter Kirn. Reitman has been writing the script on and off for five years after becoming infatuated with the novel. He finally completed it just weeks ago, and it already looks like he has secured an A-list leading man.
Before Up In The Air however, you can see Clooney next in the Coen Brothers follow up to No Country For Old Men, Burn After Reading. He also voices the title character in The Fantastic Mr Fox - Wes Anderson's animated adaptation of Roald Dahl's famed novel.
