In a bid to boost California's struggling economy, Arnold Schwarzenegger is holding a 'car boot sale'.

The Governor of the sunny state is promoting the Great California Garage Sale, which sees 6,000 items auctioned on the website eBay over the weekend

The items include confiscated jewelry, clothes, gadgets and sports accessories.

A 2001 Ford Focus station wagon, which was autographed by the Terminator star himself, went for over $2 million.

Schwarzenegger said, "By posting items online, California and people from other states around the world can participate in the Great California Garage Sale.

"This is a win-win for the state and for shoppers. Together we are eliminating waste and providing great deals in this tough economy."
