Aussie pop star Natalie Imbruglia has auditioned for a part in X-Men spin-off movie Wolverine.
The former Neighbours star compatriot Hugh Jackman will star in the film based on the Marvel comics mutant hero.
The Torn singer screen-tested for a part but it hasn't yet been confirmed whether she'll appear. The producers of the film, titled X-Men Origins: Wolverine, recently announced a casting shake-up after Karl Urban dropped out.
Natalie Portman and Gerard Butler have reportedly been approached by producers while Liev Schreiber and Kodi Smit-McPhee are rumoured to be on board already.
The title has also launched a rumour mill that this could be the start of a movie or TV series, with a Magneto film already in development there could then be a whole host of characters old and new getting the 'origins' treatment.
