Jennifer Lopez became Jenny From The Block again as she returned to the New York neighbourhood where she grew up to sign copies of her first all-Spanish album.
A crowd of around 500 gathered in front of a Bronx shop to see the singer/actress who was accompanied by hubby Marc Anthony.
She told the crowd in Spanish and English, "I want to say thank you to everyone for coming to celebrate with me this very special day for me. It touches my heart to be able to bring this album back to my neighbourhood, back to my home."
The album, Como ama una mujer (How A Woman Loves) was released on Monday and coincides with Lopez's two Latin-themed films due this year: Bordertown, concerning the killings of women in a Mexican city, and El Cantante, with Marc Anthony as Puerto Rican salsa singer Hector Lavoe.
