Oscar-winners line up new work

Newly crowned Oscar-winners Helen Mirren and Jennifer Hudson have both managed to grab new movie projects. Dame Helen is the latest addition to blockbuster sequel "National Treasure: The Book Of Secrets", joining the likes of Nicolas Cage, Diane Kruger, Justin Bartha, Jon Voight, Harvey Keitel and fellow newcomer Ed Harris. She'll be playing Emily, Cage's character's mum.

"Dreamgirls" star Hudson meanwhile is to play her fellow Oscar-winner Forest Whitaker's daughter in "Winged Creatures". The movie, which is currently filming in LA, will also star Kate Beckinsale, Dakota Fanning and Guy Pearce, and follows the witnesses to a brutal murder / suicide as they cope with the aftermath of the incident.
