Veteran actor Robert Redford is still considering producing and starring in a film based on a book by travel writer Bill Bryson.
The project was initially going to see Redford reunited with Paul Newman but the latter has since announced his retirement.
Barry Levinson is in talks to direct the film, according to the Hollywood Reporter, based on Walk In The Woods, which Bryson wrote about a journey along the Appalachian Trail.
Redford still needs to give script approval, which will mean a further delay due to the writers' strike.
Redford, who's clearly not retiring yet, has also been linked to a film about baseball manager Branch Rickey who pioneered the use of statistical analysis in the sport as well as helping to break down its racial barrier.
