Uma Thurman to star in new comedy movie

Uma Thurman is continuing in her line of light comedy (see Be Cool and Prime) with new film, The Accidental Husband.

The Kill Bill star plays a psychologist who gets engaged but then discovers that she’s already married. After tracking down her original husband she realises she might still have feelings for him.

Made by the Yari Film Group and with four writers behind the script, it's hoped to be a real rib-tickler.

The producers want Griffin Dunne to direct, and if he agrees, the plan is to start shooting in New York later this year.

But if you can't wait until then Thurman will hit the big screen this August, starring in My Super Ex-Girlfriend.
