George Clooney is said to be "relieved" that he is no longer with girlfriend Sarah Larson.
It was reported yesterday that Clooney and the former cocktail waitress, had ended their relationship, after a year together.
A friend of Clooney's revealed that the actor had ended the relationship because he felt he and Larson had "little in common".
Clooney's friend told In Touch, "George is relieved to be single again. He thinks Sarah is sweet and that is why it was so hard to break up with her. The truth is they had little in common and he just doesn't want to be tied down."
Another pal of Clooney's told People that Larson had recently moved out of the star's LA home.
The Hollywood actor's agent has refused to confirm the news.
