Catherine Zeta Jones admits she's partial to a pint of beer - for washing her hair in!
The actress, whose new film No Reservations opens this week, used to soak her brunette locks in ale in order to make them extra shiny. She recalled: "My grandmother told me that washing my hair in beer would make it shine, so I did.
"I used to stink for days."
Meanwhile, Catherine, who plays a snooty gourmet chef in the new romcom, has revealed that she secretly took a waitressing job in New York restaurant Flamma to prepare for her role.
Fellow waitress Ilona Rubenstein said of her A-list colleague: "Some customers said she looked vaguely familiar from the TV or movies. Others told her she really looked like Catherine Zeta-Jones. But she just laughed and said she got that all the time and then walked away."
