Not all the stars of TV comedy Arrested Development are interested in making a film version. Some may not even approve of it!

Jason Bateman, who we recently saw in Hancock and Juno, has spoken a few times about Arrested Development: The Movie, becoming increasingly likely. However, his A.D. and Juno co-star Michael Cera (pictured) appears to be rubbishing the whole idea.

Speaking to the National Post, Cera took a personal perspective, stating: “I don't think I would want to see a movie of the series if I was a fan, anyway. He also added: I don't really see a need for it if you can get the three seasons on DVD.” (Clearly nobody dared utter those words to the Producers of the Sex And The City movie!)

His comments will disappoint many who believed the project had already been given a green light (though seeing it listed on IMDb as a possible 2009 release is no promise of a certain thing). And now, if it does go ahead, it looks likely one of the key characters from the TV series will be absent.
