Mirren gets some action National Treasure

Following her role alongside Jon Voight in National Treasure: Book Of Secrets, Helen Mirren says "I would love to spend the rest of my life just doing action movies!"

The Queen star spoke about her enjoyment making the action flick to Entertainment Today's Michael Underwood, saying: "The script fell into my lap immediately after the Oscar, and I thought fantastic - that’s exactly what I want to do next. I just want to have fun… and do a few stunts!"

Talking of which, the Oscar winner feels she was the bravest of the movie's stars: "I was a lot braver than Jon - he’ll probably deny that but I was!", she said. "The great thing about action is that you don’t have to worry about the acting because the action does the acting for you. I now have my own closely-fitted harness that no one else can wear and I can use it in different movies."

Mirren also got some action of a different kind in the film. She enjoyed her sizzling on-screen kiss with Jon Voight as one of the best of her career:

"I haven’t had a lot of screen kisses... I think it’s up there because it comes out of such a funny situation, because they hate each other. So - one to ten? Let’s make it 8 ."
