Jim Carrey takes the plunge with "Yes Man"

It was widely reported that Jim Carrey performed his own bungie stunt for Warner Bros' comedy "Yes Man" on Monday- what was not so widely reported was the subsequent seizures had by the insurance guys on the set! The comedy megastar ("Bruce Almighty" and "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind") jumped off of the Arroyo Seco Bridge in Pasadena, California all for the sake of his art.

The "Yes Man", released 19 December, sees Carrey star as Carl Allen, a man who tries to turn things around in his life by enrolling in a self-help programme based on one simple rule: say "yes" to everything - no matter what. Of course, saying "yes" to everything can have its good points and its bad point (the mind boggles!) and soon Carl's life is takes some unexpected twist and turns.
