No New Year's resolution for Caine

Sir Michael Caine won't be making any New Years resolutions this year because he is too "old".

The veteran actor, 74, has no plans to give up anything in 2008 and hopes other people follow his advice to just be happy with themselves.

He explained, "I never make any New Year's resolutions anymore. When you get to my age you just think, 'To hell with it!'

"I have got some good advice, though. Live your life every day. Don't worry about tomorrow, and especially don't worry about yesterday.

"And most importantly, never worry about things you can't do anything about."
