Pfeiffer to get greased up. Again.

Michelle Pfeiffer is desperate to star in the remake of Grease to banish memories of her starring role in the sequel.

The Hollywood beauty's acting debut was in the 1982 sequel to the smash hit musical, which made stars of John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.

However, Pfeiffer admits she is not a big fan of the film. She said, "I hated that film with a vengeance and could not believe how bad it was. At the time, I was young and didn't know better... I hear it's a cult movie now."

And Pfeiffer has a cunning ploy for people to forget her part in the movie - she wants to play the part of Principal McGee in the remake of the 1977 original.

"It's a great idea," she said. "And I hear they would like to get Jessica Simpson for the role of Sandy. She would be good."
