English rose Kate Beckinsale has joined the cast of low-key indie drama Snow Angels written by David Gordon Green (Undertow).
Director Jesse Peretz has cast the Van Helsing beauty as the film's waitress in a dead end town having problems with her estranged husband played by Sam Rockwell. The film begins shooting February 2006 with a view to theatrical release next winter. Amanda Peet and Emily Mortimer also star.
