Charlie And The Chocolate Factory is already a big hit with movie goers in the UK and it's about to get even bigger and better.
An IMAX version of the film will open on August 12 at the IMAX cinema in London. "Charlie And The Chocolate Factory is a story that stirs the imagination," says director Tim Burton. "So much of it is larger than life. The immersive IMAX format adds its own dimension to the sense of wonder that comes from stepping inside Willy Wonka's fantastic world and realizing the genius of Roald Dahl."
The release of Charlie And The Chocolate Factory: The IMAX Experience follows on the heels of Batman Begins: The IMAX Experience, another summer release from Warner, which debuted in IMAX cinemas on June 16, concurrent with the 35mm release.
